Our shop is an Aladdin’s cave of watersports equipment, right in the heart of the village.
We stock everything you need to make the most of the incredible beach here at Westward Ho! — from gear for surfing, kitesurfing, SUP boarding, and bodyboarding, to wetsuits and accessories.
But we’re more than just a shop. You can learn to surf with us, or hire wetsuits, surfboards, bodyboards, and SUP boards — all hassle-free.
Our mission is simple: to help you find the ocean, connect with nature, and make unforgettable memories while you're here in Westward Ho!
Ho! Surf is a family-run business, woven into our everyday life, everyone has a role to play, including the kids.
Bob was once our shameless marketing mascot, and now that he’s older, he helps out in the shop alongside his big brother!
We began in 2009 as "Kitemare", a kite repair business. By 2021, we had to stop repairs — they were simply too time consuming, especially during the busy summer season. In 2024, we rebranded as Ho! Surf — and it was the best move we’ve made.
The new name truly reflects what we’re all about: everything surf-related, right here in Westward Ho
Since June 2019, we’ve been proudly crafting and selling unique Westward Ho! clothing that celebrates the spirit of our seaside village.
From bold beachwear to cheeky local slogans, every design is created
in-house with flair and originality. And since August 2022, we’ve been printing everything ourselves right here in the shop — giving us fast turnaround, top quality, and total creative freedom.
Our gear flies off the shelves and online, worn by locals, holidaymakers, and even national champions! We’ve printed fightwear for a UK kickboxing champ and team kits for an international para surfer — so whether you’re after a one-off tee or full team branding, we’ve got you covered.
